alternative wedding speech
those of you who were in NY for the wedding may know that I wanted to do a short slide show of pictures from Manu's childhood but that the hotel did not have the facilities to show it. So, without wasting the work done on the photos I am posting them here and I think they speak for themselves. I especially like the 'bumfluff' photo - bumfluff is that sort of mustache you get as an Indian boy at around 12-13 years before your dad lets you shave for the first time.

actually, if you look closely at the last photo, the serve action is more like Roger Federer's!
anyway, with respect to the "bumfluff", in true public school tradition my dormitory mates attempted to shave it off one night while I slept - i have hated shaving ever since!
In a way, i am glad that the Harrison House Hotel didn;t have the facilities for my brother to show these pcitures - except for the rock and roll band one in which i think i look cool!
Incidentally, Bob still wears those glasses...
I haven't yet posted the funniest one which I will do so this evening. I think the photos would have gone down well in the reception no?

I shaved mine off at the age of 11 without telling my mum and dad. The problem was that my skin was so red where I had shaved that I could not hide the fact and was then the centre of several comments.......more so than if I had not shaved in the first place. :)))
