Cricket in Malaysia

I know that Cricket is the main thing I talk about here but I had to post these photos from an India v Australia match in Kuala Lumpur that I went to over the weekend with some friends. India played crap, as usual, responding to 247 with 35/5 before rain washed out the match, thankfully. Anyway, I took my new camera along and was quite excited using my new zoom lens. These are all photos taken from the stands about 150 feet away so i think they came out pretty well. I especially like the one of Agarkar mid-bowl - that was the first ball of the match. The last one is Sehwag hitting a six in the dark of the evening. A little out of focus but I think that it shows the speed of the bat pretty well. The crowd is where we were sitting - you can imagine that the crowd was pretty loud most of the time with Bhangra music and celebrations all day long, well until Tendulkar got out when there was silence.

At the height of that silence I yelled "Bring back Ganguly" (well, india were 35/5 at that stage) and I was roundly booed and hissed. Still, it was a fun moment.
